I’ve been in love with electronic music ever since i remember. It all started with the discovery of a very primitive tracking software in the early 90’s. After trying nearly all the computer systems and trackers of the time, i also started djing.
It was later, whilst in university, that i started producing more seriously, and the first record deal came from NYC in late 2003. After that, i was signed for a bunch of eps, an album and remix work, by imprints like Plastic City (still in their good old days), LA’s soul filling Room Records or Berlinese Sonntag Music, amongst many others.
2006 was the year i managed to put in motion my very own label Exquisite Music, which has been delivering some of the finest deep house tracks around since then. Soon, i used it to embrace a few other sublabels, exploring different genres like Vivid Trax, Blooming Audio, Discotexas (traded to someone else now), and EightyFourMusic.
Djing wise, i’ve played extensively throughout europe, in some of the most charismatic clubs and festivals, including a very chilled residency at legendary Café Del Mar and self organized label parties on Ibiza’s almighty Space.
After a hiatus of aproximately 2 years, i’m back in the studio for a bunch of new cuts. I’m also involved in some film and photography projects, and the radio shows which are part of the labelgroup structure.
Aside from music i run an environmental biotech company established in 2008, and i’m an active amateur historian, being the Portuguese age of discoveries, 15th and first half of the 16th centuries, my obsession.
